Ashley C. Higgins, Esq.
Ashley C. Higgins received her Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School, where she was a Dean's List student. During her time at Suffolk Law School, Ashley was issued awards for her legal writing and oral advocacy abilities.
Ashley received her undergraduate degree, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth where she was a double major in Political Science and Sociology with a focus on civil rights and equality issues. While at the university she participated in many honors and volunteer organizations. She is a member of Golden Key International Honor Society and Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society. Ashley graduated with the highest Grade Point Average in both of her majors.
Ashley has been employed by, and interned for, several area law firms which specialize in probate matters and real estate transactions. Prior to her admittance to the Massachusetts Bar, Ashley was Supreme Judicial Court rule 3.03 certified to act as legal counsel while in law school. She used this certification to work in Suffolk's Battered Women's Advocacy Program where she represented clients seeking 209A abuse prevention orders ("restraining orders") in East Boston District Court.
Ashley is a member of the American Bar Association.
